Product Manager - Retention (Remote)

We’re Novakid School, the English academy for kids of the future. We teach English as a foreign language to children all over the world, using our live 1:1 and group class platform, AI tutoring features, and learning games. We’re the biggest English tutoring platform for kids in Europe, delivering millions of lessons each year.

We’re looking for a Product Manager to explore and implement customer retention strategies, minimise churn and focus on perfecting the after-purchase user journey.

You’ll have a cross-functional squad of developers, designers and analysts, and access to leverage our product portfolio including live tutoring, AI tutoring, and learning games to test and validate hypotheses around how best to convey the value of Novakid to existing customers.

What you’ll do:

• Develop and implement strategies to drive long-term user retention. Analyse user behavior and segmentation to identify high-risk churn cohorts and take action to re-engage them.

• Proactively monitor churn metrics and identify root causes. Work with the customer support, data, and product teams to address pain points and develop retention-focused product improvements.

• Own the entire post-purchase user journey. Ensure customers continue to derive value from our products after their initial purchase and maintain a high level of satisfaction.

• Collaborate with marketing, customer success, and design teams to create personalised, targeted campaigns that nurture users and build loyalty. 

• Leverage data analytics, A/B testing, and customer insights to make informed decisions. Use metrics to measure success and continuously optimise user journeys to improve LTV.

• Work closely with design, engineering, marketing, and customer success teams to create, test and launch new initiatives that improve the customer experience and reduce churn.

• Build and refine customer segments to enable personalised post-purchase experiences. Use these insights to target different user groups with tailored messaging and retention tactics.

What you’ll have:

• 3+ years of product management experience, with a strong focus on user retention, customer experience, or post-purchase journeys.

• Proven experience in using data and analytics to drive product decisions and optimisations.

• Excellent understanding of customer behavior and lifecycle management.

• Cross-functional collaboration experience and the ability to influence teams without direct authority.

• Familiarity with customer engagement tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Amplitude, Mixpanel, etc.).

• Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to communicate product goals, strategy and results effectively to stakeholders at all levels.

Bonus Skills:

• Experience in Ed-tech or e-commerce industries.

• Familiarity with growth hacking techniques or experimentation methodologies.

• Experience working with UX/UI teams to optimize customer journeys.
