The PR Lead is responsible for building, managing, and scaling Novakid’s public relations strategy across core markets (TR, PL, RO, FR, DE, IT, ES, MENA, …). This role owns the end-to-end PR function: defining the PR roadmap, managing external agencies and media relationships, driving consistent brand narratives, and securing high-impact media coverage that supports Novakid’s brand awareness, credibility, and growth objectives.
This role requires a strategic communicator with strong storytelling skills, excellent media instincts, and the ability to operate both at a strategic and highly operational level. The PR Lead will work closely with Brand, Performance, Product, Local Marketing, and Leadership teams to ensure Novakid is visible, relevant, and trusted by parents, educators, and the broader EdTech ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
PR Strategy & Narrative Ownership:
Strategy: Define priority narratives (education, parenting, product innovation, company news, research, thought leadership) and adapt them across markets with local relevance.
Operations: Build and own Novakid’s global PR strategy, frameworks, messaging pillars, and yearly PR roadmap, managing a budget of approx $700k.
Alignment: Ensure all PR activities are aligned with brand positioning, business priorities, and major company milestones (product launches, market expansions, studies, partnerships).
Qualitative KR: Clarity & Consistency. Internal teams clearly understand Novakid’s key narratives and see consistent messaging across all external communications.
2. Media Relations & PR Execution:
Media relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with top-tier, education, parenting, business, and tech media across priority markets with the support of local agencies.
Execution: Oversee the development and distribution of press releases, pitches, contributed articles, interviews, and press kits.
Agency management: Manage and coordinate local PR agencies, ensuring high-quality output, strong pipelines, and alignment with global strategy.
Spokesperson management: Support leadership and subject matter experts in media training, interviews, and thought leadership opportunities.
Qualitative KR: Credibility & Visibility. Novakid is consistently featured in relevant, high-quality media with strong message pull-through.
3. Campaigns, News & Thought Leadership:
Campaign integration: Partner with Brand and Campaign teams to amplify key campaigns through PR angles, earned media, and storytelling.
Always-on PR: Build a steady flow of news, expert commentary, data stories, and seasonal hooks.
Thought leadership: Position Novakid leaders and teachers as experts in kids’ education, English learning, AI in education, and remote learning.
Qualitative KR: Impact & Relevance. PR stories meaningfully support brand campaigns and strengthen Novakid’s authority in education.
4. Reputation, Issues & Measurement:
Reputation management: Monitor media coverage, sentiment, and emerging risks; prepare reactive statements and crisis playbooks.
Measurement: Define and track the right PR KPIs and reporting structure (reach, quality, SOV, sentiment, message pull-through, backlinks, impact on brand metrics).
Insights: Turn PR results into insights that inform future storytelling, campaigns, and positioning.
Qualitative KR: Trust & Readiness. Leadership feels confident in Novakid’s external reputation management and visibility.

Job requirements
You have:
A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising & Communications, Journalism, Business Management or a related field
Minimum 7 years’ experience in a Social Media and PR role (agency or inhouse) ideally working with educational or technology brands
An impressive track record of successful Social Media Campaigns, Influencers partnerships and PR stunts to strategically build brands, create attention and generate user advocacy on a global scale
Minimum 4 years’ experience in a management role, leading international teams and catering for the needs of customers from more than 5 countries
An exceptional verbal and written communication skills with native or perfectly fluent level of English. The more languages you are fluent in the better.
